Break and Enter for Unknown Reasons

On January 13, 2017, the accused, Terrance Nahmabin, 24 years of age, attends in front of an address in the 1000 block and Tashmoo Avenue where he is observed pacing back and forth at approximately 2:30 pm. He is observed by the couple, who reside in the home, along with a guest, run up the drive way to the side door of the residence.

At this point the accused attempts to force himself into the residence for unknown reasons. From what was observed Nahmabin was acting peculiarly and may have been under the influence of something. The occupants of the home attempted to hold the door closed but Nahmabin took a run at the door and caused it to splinter. From there the accused was able to gain entry. A 73 year old male resident attempted to restrain the accused with the assistance of his wife while Nahmabin continues flailing violently and fighting with the residents. While this is going on the guest was able to call 911 for assistance.

Police and paramedics attended shortly thereafter. The accused continued to fight with police but was finally brought under control and arrested.

The female occupant of the residence was taken to hospital for observation due to injuries sustained during the incident but has since been released from hospital care.

The accused, Terrance Nahmabin, was charged with six counts of Breach of Probation, two counts of failing to comply with his Recognizance break and enter, two counts of assault and one count of resist peace officer.

Nahmabin remains in custody pending a bail hearing for his release.
