On the September 3, 2016, at approximately 5:00pm, the Sarnia Police Service’s General Patrol Officers were dispatched to the 500 block of Montcalm Avenue in the City of Sarnia regarding a break and enter that had just occurred.
Thanks to the quick thinking and attention of a neigbour, the police were given enough information in regards to the description and direction of travel of the suspects. That information allowed the officers to begin their search of the area to locate the suspects.
After a bit of leg work officers were able to locate and arrest all three suspects. Two 15 year old males and a 16 year old male were arrested and charged with Break and Enter, Mischief Over $5000.00 and Theft Under $5000.00. Also, one of the 15 year old boys was charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance.
All three were released on a Promise to Appear to their guardians. Due to their age their names will not be identified.
