On March 30, 2016 members of the Sarnia Police Service Vice Unit began an investigation into a female suspect who was believed to be dealing quantities of Fentanyl in the City of Sarnia.
During the investigation vice officers were able to form reasonable grounds to believe that the female accused was in fact dealing drugs to various individuals throughout the city. The accused, a 29 year old pregnant female was arrested for the offence of Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking Fentanyl at approximately 5:15 pm in the 500 block of Exmouth Street.
Upon a search of the accused, police were able to locate a street value of over $900.00 in Fentanyl along with a large quantity of cash. She was then held for a bail hearing.
