On March 2, 2016, members of the Sarnia Police Service Vice Unit applied for and were granted a Search Warrant under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act for a residence in the 400 block of Devine Street in the City of Sarnia.
Entry into the residence was made shortly before 10:00 pm last evening. Inside the residence 4 adults and 2 young offenders were located and arrested. During the search various forms of drug paraphernalia were located along with a quantity of methamphetamine valued at over $1800.00 and over $1700.00 in cash. Also located was a quantity of marijuana.
The 2 young offenders both face charges of Trafficking a Controlled Substance while one also faces a charge of breach of probation.
All 4 adults face charges of Trafficking a Controlled Substance. One of the adults was a 38 year old man wanted on an outstanding warrant. A 30 year old male and a 25 year old female face other charges of breaching various conditions. The last adult, a 24 year old man, is just facing the drug trafficking charges.
All six parties were held for a bail hearing for later this morning.
