On February 26, 2016 a Sarnia Police cruiser was involved in a collision at the intersection of East Street and London Road in the City of Sarnia. The cruiser was facing north bound on East Street, attempting to make a left hand turn onto London Road when it came into contact with a vehicle heading southbound on East Street. Both vehicles were towed from the scene and no one sustained any injuries.
After an investigation the officer driving the cruiser was issued a Provincial Offences Notice under the Highway Traffic Act for Turn not in Safety.
