Further to the robbery that occurred on February 23, 2016 at approximately 4:50 pm where a lone man entered a pharmacy in the City of Sarnia brandishing a gun. The suspect made off with a quantity of various opiate based drugs such as Fentanyl patches, Oxycodone, Morphine and Demerol.
The suspect was then arrested by London Police in the City of London on a traffic stop and returned to Sarnia this morning for a bail hearing. At this time the accused Clark Donald Macpherson (26 years old) remains remanded into custody after his initial appearance before a justice of the peace. Macpherson is to appear via video tomorrow before the courts.
Macpherson faces the following charges: Robbery Using Firearm, Pointing a Firearm, Using Firearm While Committing an Offence, Unauthorized Possession of Firearm, Breach of Probation times 3, Occupant of a Motor Vehicle with a Prohibited or Restricted Weapon, Possession of Weapon for a Dangerous Purpose, Possession of Firearm knowing Serial Number has been Tampered With, Possessing a Firearm Contrary to a Prohibition Order, 5 Counts of Possessing a Schedule I Drug for the Purpose of Trafficking, and several other firearm related charges.
