On February 3, 2016, at 12:55pm, the Sarnia Police Service responded to a call in the 400 block of Kathleen Avenue in the City of Sarnia regarding a man causing a disturbance. Upon arrival the man had left the area but the police were advised by the complainant that the man began banging on the door of the residence laughing and yelling. The resident answered the door and was confronted by the lone male who was intoxicated and being belligerent to both her and a child, who had also attended the door.
Through further investigation it was determined who the suspect was and he was later arrested at approximately 2:00 pm in the 1400 block of Vidal Street South.
The 44 year old man faces charges of causing a disturbance and breach of recognizance due to allegedly consuming alcohol. He was then held for a bail hearing on this date.
