The Sarnia Police Service Criminal Investigations Branch executed a search warrant in the 100 block of Durand Street just after 4:300 p.m. on Monday January 25, 2016.
The search was related to a break and enter that occurred in December of2015 at an apartment building located in the 100 block of Nelson Street. The officers arrested a man and woman and also located a prohibited knife and pepper spray. It is suspected that other items found in the home are from other break and enters and officers continue to follow up.
Andrew SCOTT-WESTFIELD, age 26 years, has been charged with two counts of possession of a prohibited weapon, possession of break in tools, two counts of break and enter and breaching his probation.
Bettina Jean CUMMINGS, age 35 years, has been charged with two counts of possession of a prohibited weapon, possession of break in tools and two counts of breaching her bail conditions
