On Friday, January 22, 2016, members of the Sarnia Police Service COPPS Unit and Traffic Division responded to the 200 block of Ross Avenue in the City of Sarnia regarding a possible Break & Enter in progress.
Upon attending the residence a male was observed at the back door wear a mask covering his face. The male was called out of the residence without incident by police and subsequently arrested for an outstanding warranting and being unlawfully in a dwelling house.
Secondary to a further investigation the 26 year old Sarnia man was charged with possession of a controlled substance, 3 counts of breach of probation, three counts of breaching his recognizance and identity theft. He was held for a bail hearing.
