Members of the Sarnia Police Service are once again hosting the “Be a Holiday Hero” event at the Lambton Mall this Saturday December 12, 2015.
Officers will have a cruiser parked in front of the Toys R Us store in the mall between 10:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. They will collect donations of gifts for less fortunate children in our community this Christmas Season. This year the organizer Constable Jordan Laird has partnered with the Inn of the Good Shepherd to support the “Adopt a Family” program. During the past two years it has been possible to supply gifts for approximately 230 children because of the generous donations from the community.
This is the third year for the event
