Commissionaires Great Lakes and Sarnia Police would like to remind drivers to obey and respect Crossing Guards and school crossing locations. Drivers must stop and remain stopped until all students and the Guard have cleared the roadway and it is safe to proceed. Help us protect our children. Be alert and please slow down on City streets. Failing to comply with this law may result in a fine of $180.00 and three demerit points.
The Sarnia Police Service has recently received complaints regarding the crossing at Indian Road and Errol Road. Officers will be increasing patrols and enforcement in all school crossing areas.
