Sarnia Police arrested a 35 year old Michigan man for impaired operation of a vessel.
On Friday July 3, 2015 at about 5:00 p.m. Sarnia Police attended an address in the 1400 block of Andover Lane along the shoreline of Lake Huron. Officers found a 35 foot boat resting approximately 35 feet onto the shore and the operator still aboard. The man was arrested for impaired operation and taken to Sarnia Police Headquarters to provide samples of his breath. The breath test indicated he was two and a half times the legal limit to operate the vessel.
Timothy Kelly from Grosse Point Michigan has been charged with impaired operation of a vessel, operating a vessel with over the legal limit and dangerous operation of a vessel.
