On Saturday June 13, 2015 at about 2:30 a.m. four security staff from a drinking establishment on Campbell Street were confronted by a man with a knife.
The four security staff had initially investigated a disturbance and were speaking to someone who had been assaulted by two males. One of the suspect males returned brandishing a knife and began threatening the security staff. An unknown person then ran towards the suspect and pepper sprayed him. As police arrived the suspect fled on foot but was located and arrested a short time later.
The 23 year old suspect who is from Sarnia was held for a bail hearing and is charged with possession of a weapon, four counts of assault with a weapon and four counts of uttering threats.
