College Street Fire

Date: June 1, 2015

On Saturday May 30, 2015, at about 3:30 a.m., Sarnia Fire and Rescue and Sarnia Police responded to a house fire in the 100 block of College Street South.

An investigation into the incident revealed that the accused in this case had been at the residence a short time prior and was involved in an altercation with several persons. The accused assaulted another male who required treatment at Bluewater Health. The accused is alleged to have returned to the home and setting the fire. There were no injuries as a result of the fire. There is no damage estimate at this time but it is considered to be extensive.

Timothy Duquette age 24 years has been charged with Assault causing bodily harm, Arson having disregard for human life and two counts of failing to comply with his probation order.
