Sarnia Police Service is investigating two separate thefts of copper wire from the same business.
Sometime overnight between Sunday February 8th and Monday February 9th 2015 a business compound in the 1300 block of Confederation Street was entered and between 1000 and 1500 pounds of copper wire was stolen. The suspect or suspect then returned the evening of Tuesday the 10th and took another 300 feet of copper wire. Because of the weight of the wire stolen investigators believe that there was more than one person involved and that they had transportation of some sort.
