On Thursday, October 9, 2014 at around 12:45 PM a Sarnia Police traffic officer came across a spill of an unknown liquid on Murphy Road at Exmouth Street. The liquid was in the left hand lane of south bound Murphy Road just north of Exmouth Street. Vehicles coming south down the over pass were sliding in the liquid which covered an area almost 75 meters in length. Work crews were dispatched to clean the liquid up and the Ministry of Environment were notified and also attended.
Police are asking anyone who may have been in the area at the time and are able to provide any information regarding the spill to contact Sarnia Police at 519-344-8861 or Sarnia Lambton Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477(TIPS)
