Sarnia Police Service Vice officers arrested a 25 year old Sarnia man last night for several drug related offences.
The man was arrested around 9:30PM September 15, 2014 in a south end convenience store for possession of a Controlled Substance. At the time of his arrest he was found to have 1.5 grams of suspected marihuana and over 3 grams of suspected crystal methamphetamine. Later that night at about 10:30PM Vice officers executed a search warrant at his home located in the 100 block of Brock Street South. Police located 5 Oxycodone pills and 15 codeine pills along with drug paraphernalia indicating trafficking in the home.
The total street value of all drugs is estimated to be $650.00. The man faces 2counts of Possession of a Controlled Substance, 2 counts Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking and 2 counts of violating release conditions. The man is being held in custody awaiting a bail hearing.
