On Sunday September 14, 2014 at about 2:40AM a Sarnia Police officer watched as a car drove away from a south end bar at a high rate of speed. The car at one point was travelling at twice the posted limit. The officer stopped the car and spoke to the 21 year old driver. The officer believed the young man to be impaired and transported him to the Police Station to provide samples of his breath. The breath samples indicated the man was 1 ½ times the legal limit. The Corunna man was charged with Impaired Operation and Drive with more than 80MG. The man was also issued a 90 day license suspension.
