Sarnia Police are asking for assistance in locating a suspect vehicle involved in a hit and run collision.
On Tuesday September 8, 2014 around 2:00PM a red van was stopped for a traffic light at Wellington Street and Indian Road going east. A small blue car driven by a male party ran into the back of the van. The driver of the blue car then reversed and left travelling east on Wellington Road.
The suspect vehicle is described as a newer model Toyota Yaris or Matrix. The car will have considerable damage to the front end including the grill, bumper and hood. The only occupant in the blue car was the driver and he is described as being approximately 40 years old and of Asian descent.
