Sarnia Police Constable’s Mark David, Sean Van Vlymen, Karl Brown and Richard Scott along with Sarnia Fire Fighter Marc Butler participated in the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge. In turn, the officers invited other officers and fire fighters to participate in the challenge.
Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) or more commonly known as Lou Gehrig’s disease is a progressive neurodegenerative disease that affects nerve cells in the brain and the spinal cord. ALS Canada is committed to the fight against ALS but requires donations to continue the fight. The officers have donated to the cause and will continue to donate with every “like” they receive on Facebook.
We encourage you to donate also and nominate your friends for this very worthwhile cause.

The Sarnia Police Association has provided a donation on behalf of the officers.
