On Wednesday, June 11, 2014 at about 5:20PM Sarnia Police Vice officers stopped a male party operating a motorcycle in the 200 block of Christina Street south. It was discovered that the man was on a Canada wide driving prohibition and was arrested for the offense of Disqualified Driving. During a search of the man officers found approximately 7 grams of suspected methamphetamine with a street value of about $840.00. The man was also on Probation with conditions, one being not to drive.
The 54 year old Sarnia man faces charges of Driving While Disqualified, Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking and two counts of Breach of Probation. The motorcycle was seized and will be impounded for 45 days. The man was held for a Bail Hearing.
