The Results are in for Cops for Cans

The results are in for this year’s Annual Cops for Cans event. In total, 11,588 pounds of food was collected throughout the day and has been donated to the Inn of the Good Shepherd.

We want to thank the community for their generous donations and continued support of this event.

On Saturday November 18 2023, the Sarnia Police Service will be holding their annual Cops for Cans event. 

Members of the Sarnia Police Service will be at the following locations between 10am and 3pm accepting non-perishable food donations in support of the Inn of the Good Shepherd:

  • Walmart Superstore (1444 Quinn Dr.)
  • Kyle’s No Frills (889 Exmouth Street)
  • The Real Canadian Superstore (600 Murphy Rd.)
  • Foodland (2600 Lakeshore Rd. in Bright’s Grove)

 

There will also be prepackaged bags of non-perishable food that can purchased at the above stores or you can bring your own non-perishable food items from home and donate as you see fit. 

Our service is excited to be hosting this annual event to help those in our community who are in need as the holiday season approaches.
