Drug Warrant Investigation

Members of the Sarnia Police Service Vice Unit entered into a Controlled Drugs and Substances Act investigation regarding a male who was suspected of trafficking fentanyl, cocaine, and methamphetamine from his residence on Savoy Street.

As the investigation continued observations made indicated that the trafficking of drugs was taking place and thus a Controlled Drugs and Substances Act search warrant was requested on February 23, 2023, to search the residence on Savoy Street.

On February 24, 2023, at approximately 7:30 AM, members of the Vice Unit along with members of the Sarnia Police Emergency Response Team executed the warrant and made entry into the residence. The accused was located in the residence and taken into custody without incident. A second suspect was also located in the residence and taken into custody.

A search of the residence located the following:

•    Fentanyl 72.08 grams (street value $12, 614)

•    Cocaine 44.33 grams (Street value $5319)

•    Crystal Methamphetamine 11.72 grams (Street value $586)

•    Psilocybin 49.49 grams (Street Value $495)

•    9 mm luger ammunition round

•    $655 Canadian Currency

As a result of this investigation the following individuals have been charged accordingly:

  1. Nicholas Edward BAILEY, 26 years of age, of Sarnia, faces three counts of possession of a Schedule I Substance for the purpose of trafficking, one count for failing to comply with a release order, and two counts of breaching a probation order.

     

  2. Mila-Michelle Maria OBLAK, 33 years of age, of Sarnia, faces three counts of possession of a Schedule I Substance for the purpose of trafficking.
