Update Regarding Theft and Mischief at Sarnia City Hall

The Sarnia Police Service continues to investigate an incident that took place on February 14, 2023, at approximately 5:15 AM.

As part of the Murdered and Missing Indigenous Women March, the front of Sarnia City Hall had a number of red dresses hung on display to signify and honour the lives of those who were lost.

Unfortunately, prior to the March, an unidentified lone male attended the area in the early morning hours, stripping the dresses down from the trees and stealing them.

As a result of this inexcusable act, the Sarnia Police Service was contacted to investigate the matter.

Police continue in their efforts to identify the suspect involved and are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying this suspect.
