The Sarnia Police Service would like to make the public aware of an arrest made in a historical child sexual assault investigation.
It is alleged that the abuse of an 11-year-old child began in 2004 and took place over a two-year period.
The accused, John MOYER, 56 years of age, of Toronto, has been arrested and charged with:
- One count of sexual assault (between May 2004 and December 2006)
- One count of sexual interference (between May 2004 and December 2006)
- One count of invitation to sexual touching (between May 2004 and December 2006)
MOYER was arrested in Toronto on these charges and other charges related to a Toronto Police Service investigation involving similar charges.
It is believed that the accused has had contact with other children since 2004 and thus other possible victims.
Investigators believe there may have been other unreported crimes and would like to speak with any possible victims.
