Over the past two months members of the Sarnia Police Service Vice Unit have been actively investigating suspects residing at residence in the 200 block of Forsyth Street North regarding the alleged possession of a firearm.
On January 11, 2023, Vice officers requested and were granted a warrant to search the Forsyth Street residence for evidence related to the investigation.
That same day, at approximately 2:09 PM, the warrant was executed by members of the Emergency Response Team and Vice Officers. Two males were taken into custody.
A search of the residence recovered a
- Replica handgun (air pistol)
- Approximately 56 grams of cocaine with a street value of $6,729
Quentin Abraham Shawnoo, 34 years of age, of Kettle Point, and Dennis John Frayne, 64 years of age, of Sarnia, were each charged with Possession of a Schedule I Substance for the purpose of trafficking.
