On November 23, 2022, at approximately 8:45 PM, officers were dispatched to the area of Alfred Street regarding a suspicious flatbed trailer parked on the street in an odd manner. The trailer was also loaded with a number of power tools and other items that were believed to be stolen.
The trailer was indeed reported stolen from Middlesex County.
While on scene officers observed a white pickup truck drive by slowly and an attempt was made to stop the vehicle it but once the attempt was made the truck fled from police at a high rate of speed and officers did not pursue in regards to public safety.
As a result, the items in the trailer were seized and attempts will be made to locate the owners.
