In the last hour, the Sarnia Police Service responded to a collision involving a pedestrian and a motor vehicle at the intersection of Christina Street North and Michigan Avenue. The pedestrian was taken to hospital by ambulance but the extent of injuries is unknown at this time.
Members from General Patrol and the Traffic Unit remain on scene and will be there for several hours as they continue their investigation into the incident.
We are asking the public to avoid the area of Michigan and Christina Street, which is closed and will be for the next several hours.
