Sarnia Police Service are currently investigating a call where a 48-year-old male was found unconscious and with serious injuries.
On August 20th, 2022 just prior to 7am, emergency services were called to the 900 block of Confederation Street. The male victim was located in a grass field with severe injuries consistent with having been assaulted. He has been rushed to London hospital, and is undergoing surgery.
Police are still in the early stages of this investigation and are attempting to identify any witnesses or suspects in this case.
