Victim Robbed by Friend

A 34-year-old male was recently the victim of a robbery by his 38-year-old female friend and violently assaulted by two other males in the 200 block of South Vidal Street.

It is alleged that on August 12^th, 2022, at approximately 7:30pm, the victim in this case allowed his friend to stop by for a visit. As a result of this visit, the victim was assaulted and robbed of a significant amount of cash and valuables. Paramedics treated him on scene for head and facial injuries.

On August 14^th, 2022, 50-year-old Nicholas Ernest Williams of Sarnia was located in connection with this case. He was arrested and charged with the following offences:

• Assault with a Weapon
• Break & Enter with Intent to Commit an Indictable Offence
• Robbery with a Weapon
• Utter Threats to Cause Death
• Unauthorized Possession of a Weapon
• Possession of a Weapon for a Dangerous Purpose
• Fail to Comply with Probation
• Fail to Comply with Release Order

Williams remains in custody awaiting a bail appearance scheduled for August 19^th, 2022.

On August 16^th, 2022, 38-year-old Edward Lee Oliver of Sarnia was also located in connection with case. He was arrested and charged with the following offences:

• Assault with a Weapon
• Break & Enter with Intent to Commit an Indictable Offence
• Robbery with a Weapon
• Utter Threats to Cause Death
• Unauthorized Possession of a Weapon
• Possession of a Weapon for a Dangerous Purpose
• Fail to Comply with Release Order

Oliver remains in custody awaiting a bail appearance scheduled for August 22^nd, 2022.

An arrest warrant was issued for 38-year-old Stephanie Crystal Robar of Sarnia, who is wanted by Sarnia Police for the following offences:

• Assault with a Weapon
• Break & Enter with Intent to Commit an Indictable Offence
• Robbery with a Weapon

It should be noted this case was not a random act of violence, as these individuals were known to each other. There are no safety concerns for the public at this time.
