Young Offender Identified To Local High School Threat

On June 13, 2022, at approximately 3:00 PM, Sarnia Police were dispatched to St. Patrick’s High School regarding a threat to the school left written on a desk.

As a result, officers from the Community Patrol Branch, the Sarnia Police Criminal Investigation Branch, and Youth Branch investigated the matter and were able to identify a young offender who is alleged to have generated the threat. The young offender has since been charged with one count of uttering threats.

These threats are not taken lightly and will be investigated thoroughly to ensure the safety of all and when applicable charges will be laid. The fear and concern that these incidents create are of grave concern to the community and will not be tolerated.
