Over the course of the weekend, the Sarnia Police Service responded to approximately 230 calls for service. Calls included the following:
5 – Alarms
8 – Ambulance assists
6 – Animal complaints
13 – Disturb the peace
14 – Domestic disputes
12 – Family disputes
12 – Motor vehicle collisions
7 – Noise complaints
11 – Person welfare / well-being checks
11 – Thefts
13 – Traffic complaints
8 – Trespass to property
17 – Unwanted persons
Road officers conducted approximately 32 routine traffic stops for various driving related concerns. Officers also issued 32 Provincial Offence Notices (tickets) for various offences.
