A 26 year old Sarnia man was arrested Saturday night around 7:30 PM after the vehicle he was driving struck a parked car on Campbell Street near Kirby Street. Police were called to the area regarding the collision and found the man arguing with another person on the boulevard.
The man identified himself to the police as the owner of one of the cars. He was arrested after the officer detected the smell of alcohol, observed his condition and his admissions at the time. Parts of the cars were scattered all over and major damage to one of the vehicles.
Once at headquarters, the man blew 3 times the limit. He was later released and is first court date will be February 12, 2013. He was issued his suspension for driving and he faces charges of Impaired Operation and Drive with Over 80 MG.
