Attempting to Identify Suspect

On January 16, 2022, between the hours of 12:00 AM and 3:00 AM, an individual is observed on security cameras in the underground parking garage of an apartment complex in the City of Sarnia.

The male is observed carrying a sledge hammer/axe which he then used to destroy a number of security cameras and then proceeded to smash through a door to a storage room in the complex.

In the end the suspect made off with a bicycle he had stolen after having caused a significant amount of damage. The stolen bicycle is described as being a Specialized Crossroads mountain bike, black and grey in colour.

It is believed that the suspect is a white male, approximately six feet tall, and heavier set.

Security camera photos were obtained of the individual but unfortunately part of his face was covered (below).
