Sarnia Police Vice Branch, assisted by officers from the Community Response Branch, executed a Controlled Drugs and Substances Act search warrant at a residence in the 500 block of Wellington Street last night just after 11:30 PM. Two men were found inside and during the search, a 24 year old female arrived at the front door. It was learned she was residing at this home. She too was arrested. All three remain in custody and are awaiting bail hearings this morning.

Police observed fentanyl patches in plain view in the kitchen. One of the men found inside, age 30, was the same man arrested on November 20 during a vehicle stop on Wellington Street. He was charged on that date with Possession of Fentanyl for the Purpose of Trafficking after 39 fentanyl patches were discovered. He was released a few days later on a Recognizance of Bail with conditions.

During the search warrant last night, about 8 more patches were discovered as well as some cut up and strips of patches. The total street value of this seizure is about $2200. A small amount of crystal methamphetamine was also seized, valued at about $169.0. Over $4,000 in currency was discovered inside.

All parties are from Sarnia. They face an array of charges. They will jointly face a charge of Possession of Fentanyl for the Purpose of Trafficking. The 30 year old man will also be charged with Breach of Recognizance x 2. The female is charged with Possession of Methamphetamine and Possession of Crystal Methamphetamine. A 25 year old man found inside is also facing a charge of Possession of Methamphetamine.
