On December 28, 2021, at approximately 3:45 PM members of the Sarnia Police Service Community Policing Branch attended a unit on Watson Street, in the area of London Road, in response to a call received.
As a result, members of the Sarnia Police Service Criminal Investigation Branch and Forensic Identification Branch have taken over and commenced an investigation.
Currently, the scene is being held by police and the Command Post is present on Watson Street. The Command Post is expected to be there for the next several days as officers further their investigation and gather evidence. We are asking pedestrians to remain away from the area.
This investigation is still very much in its infancy stage and as a result only limited information is available at this time in an effort not to comprise the investigation. Appropriate information will be forwarded to the public as the investigation continues.
