Over the course of the weekend, the Sarnia Police Service responded to approximately 244 calls for service. Calls included the following:
17 – Alarms
10 – Ambulance assists
9 – Break and enter
7 – Disturb the peace
10 – Domestic disputes
5 – Family disputes
7 – Motor vehicle collisions
6 – Noise complaints
8 – Person welfare/well-being checks
8 – Thefts
5 – Traffic complaints
6 – Trespass to property
21 – Unwanted persons
Road officers conducted approximately 15 routine traffic stops for various driving-related concerns. Officers also issued 18 Provincial Offence Notices (tickets) over the weekend for various offences.
