Over the course of the weekend the Sarnia Police Service responded to approximately 248 calls for service. Calls included the following:
10 – Alarms
7 – Ambulance assists
6 – Assaults
5 – Break and enters
5 – Disturb the peace
12 – Domestic disputes
8 – Family disputes
5 – Mischief
15 – Person welfare / well-being checks
4 – Shoplifters
17 – Thefts
9 – Traffic complaints
11 – Trespass complaints
12 – Unwanted persons
Road officers conducted approximately 39 routine traffic stops for various driving related concerns. Officers also issued 9 Provincial Offence Notices (tickets) over the weekend for various offences.
