Over the course of the weekend the Sarnia Police Service responded to approximately 193 calls for service. Calls included the following:
9 – Alarms
7 – Ambulance assists
9 – Assault complaints
8 – Disturb the peace
11 – Domestic disputes
5 – Family disputes
7 – Mischief
5 – Motor vehicle collisions
4 – Noise complaints
8 – Person welfare / well-being checks
5 – Shoplifts
6 – Thefts
9 – Traffic complaints
8 – Trespass to property
15 – Unwanted persons
Road officers conducted approximately 19 routine traffic stops for various driving related concerns. Officers also issued 13 Provincial Offence Notices (tickets) over the weekend for various offences.
