Valuable Collectors Coins Stolen

On October 4, 2021, the Sarnia Police Service responded to a residence in the 2000 block of Lakeshore Road regarding a break and enter that had occurred to the residence.

It is believed that the theft occurred sometime between 7:45 AM and 4:00 PM on October 4, 2021.

The victim in this matter is reporting that numerous items were stolen from the home which included the following:

  • A Nintendo Switch with red and blue joy cons in a grey duffel bag. This Nintendo Switch was in a yellow Pikachu case with the games Breath of the Wild, Pokemon, Animal Crossing, and Splatoon 2 in the case,
  • Prescription medication,
  • Four to five Leatherman tools,
  • A 440 Squadron watch with a picture of a red bat on the strap of the watch,
  • Approximately $1000 in currency from Barbados, St. Lucia and the Grand Cayman Islands,
  • Solid gold collectible coins (photo below),
  • Approximately 10 wrist watches,
  • A wooden Refined Fool coin,
  • A white gold wedding ring with three golden knots with diamond inserts within each of the knots. The words written in Gaelic on the ring,
  • A black Signet ring with several black diamonds around it
  • Approximately silver dollars, and
  • Starbucks gift cards.

The Sarnia Police Service is reaching out to the public for assistance in solving this crime.
