The Sarnia Police Service responded to approximately 356 calls for service over the Thanksgiving weekend. Some of these calls included:
5 – 911 Hang ups
11 – Alarm calls
16 – Disturb the peace
28 – Domestic/Family disputes
0 – Liquor related offences
5 – Mischief
8 – Motor vehicle collisions
14 – Noise complaints
33 – Person welfare checks
17 – Thefts
14 – Traffic complaints
27 – Unwanted persons
In addition, officers conducted 36 routine traffic stops and issued 32 tickets over the long weekend.
