Over the course of the weekend the Sarnia Police Service responded to approximately 310 calls for service. Calls included the following:
11 – Alarms
21 – Ambulance assists
15 – Disturb the peace
27 – Domestic disputes
5 – Drug offences
11 – Family disputes
8 – Liqour licence Act
13 – Mental Health Act
5 – Mischief
13 – Noise complaints
17 – Person well-being / welfare checks
12 – Thefts
16 – Traffic enforcement
8 – Trespass to property
24 – Unwanted persons
Road officers conducted approximately 47 routine traffic stops for various driving related concerns. Officers issued 17 Provincial Offence Notices (tickets) over the weekend for various offences.
