The Sarnia Police Service responded to approximately 202 calls for service over the course of the weekend. Calls included the following:
5 – Alarms
11- Ambulance assists
4 – Break and enter
6 – Disturb the peace
10 – Domestic disputes
6 – Family disputes
5 – Mental Health Act
6 – Neighbour disputes
9 – Noise complaints
15 – Person welfare / well-being checks
4 – Thefts
9 – Traffic complaints
12 – Trespass to property
21 – Unwanted persons
Road officers conducted approximately 22 routine traffic stops for various driving related concerns. Officers issued 15 Provincial Offence Notices (tickets) over the weekend, for various offences.
