On April 12, 2021, The Sarnia Police Service responded to the 100 block of Brock Street North, along with Lambton Paramedics, regarding a 50-year-old male found on the ground unconscious with a bicycle.
The man was transported to hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Members of the Sarnia Police Service Traffic Unit attended the scene to investigate the incident and to determine what had occurred. This required that the road be closed till later in the morning.
As a result of the investigation and the evidence present it is believed that the male was riding his bicycle when he lost control due to a medical issue and fell to the ground causing his injuries. This is not believed to be due to a hit and run.
