The Sarnia Police Service responded to approximately 247 calls for service over the course of the weekend. Calls included the following:
7 – 911 Hang-ups
9 – Alarms
6 – Ambulance assists
9 – Disturb the peace
10 – Domestic disputes
10 – Family disputes
6 – Mischief
5 – Neighbour disputes
10 – Noise complaints
14 – Person welfare / well-being checks
9 – Thefts
16 – Traffic enforcement
12 – Trespass to property
9 – Trouble with youth
22 – Unwanted persons
Road officers conducted approximately 34 routine traffic stops for various driving related concerns. Officers issued 14 Provincial Offence Notices (tickets) over the weekend, for various offences.
