The Sarnia Police Service responded to approximately 194 calls for service over the course of the weekend. Calls included the following:
5 – 911 Hang-ups
11 – Alarms
6 – Ambulance assists
7 – Disturb the peace
17 – Domestic disputes
7 – Family disputes
7 – Mental Health Act
5 – Missing persons
10 – Noise complaints
8 – Person welfare/well-being
5 – Thefts
8 – Traffic complaints
6 – Trespass to property
6 – Trouble with youth
17 – Unwanted persons
Road officers conducted approximately 32 routine traffic stops for various driving related concerns. Officers issued 10 Provincial Offence Notices (tickets) over the weekend, for various offences.
