The Sarnia Police Service responded to approximately 185 calls for service over the course of the weekend. Calls included the following:
13 – Alarms
8 – Ambulance assists
4 – Disturb the peace
16 – Domestic disputes
6 – Family disputes
10 – Noise complaints
8 – Person welfare / well-being checks
5 – Thefts
10 – Trespass
16 – Unwanted persons
Road officers conducted approximately 26 routine traffic stops for various driving related concerns. Officers issued 30 Provincial Offence Notices (tickets) over the weekend for various offences.
