Sarnia Police are reminding local retailers and businesses to be cautious when accepting large denominations, especially as the holiday shopping season fast approaches. Several reports have been taken over the past week regarding suspicious or counterfeit $100 bills.
Police do have a brief description of a man who may have been passing these bills. He is described as having short dark hair, dark complexion and in his mid-twenties to mid-thirties. Please call the police if you suspect the money to be counterfeit. An officer will attend your location to take a report.
