On August 30, 2020, at approximately 2:50 PM, the Sarnia Police Service responded to an assault taking place in the 100 block of College Avenue North. Police located the male victim who was transported to hospital and subsequently pronounced dead due to injuries he had sustained.
Since then members of Community Patrol, the Emergency Response Team, and the Criminal Investigation Branch have been investigating the incident and have taken suspects into custody.
Police have currently blocked off College Avenue North between Lochiel Street and Cromwell Street as part of the crime scene and are asking the public to avoid the area.
