Over the course of the weekend the Sarnia Police Service responded to approximately 279 calls for service. Calls included the following:
16 – 911 Hang-ups
14 – Alarms
5 – Assaults
7 – Attempts or Threats of Suicide
17 – Disturb the Peace
15 – Domestic Disputes
6 – Family Disputes
13 – Noise Complaints
24 – Person Welfare / Well-Being Checks
5 – Thefts
11 – Traffic Complaints
8 – Trespass to Property
19 – Unwanted Persons
Road officers conducted approximately 28 routine traffic stops for various driving related concerns. Officers issued 22 Provincial Offence Notices (tickets) over the weekend for various offences.
